AstroCAN Dual Mega Shield Pro

The AstroCan Pro Dual Shield can easily be added to existing Shadow MD systems without any additional system adjustments, including software modifications. It serves as the initial entry point into the Astro CAN world and aims to replace the flawed Host-Shield-2.0 models available in the market. This shield combines the capabilities of the CAN bus and the USB mini host shield. For individuals experienced in CAN, the dual-CAN feature allows for the establishment of two separate bus systems with varying speeds to handle different tasks, such as integrating high-speed sensors with either 500kbps or 1Mbps. Additionally, it may also support future CAN-Bus motor controls.

AstroCAN Bridge

The AstroCan Bridge serves as the receiver module for the AstroCAN Pro Dual Shield, enabling wireless connectivity to the main controller. With this module, you can wirelessly transmit serial commands and communicate via the CANbus protocol.

Additionally, it can function as a transmitter for an already established system, providing wireless connectivity for body/dome connections.

The AstroCan AutoDome provides precise dome positioning. Optionally it replaces the Syren10 motor controller by a simple H-Bridge motor controller like the BTS7960. If you already own the Syren10, it can be used in place of the BTS7960.

AstroCAN 232

The AstroCAN 232 module is compatible with Troy Flynn’s 232 solution. The mechanics and the motor drivers remain identical, only the AT-Mega is exchanged for the new module based on ESP32 including CAN.

AstroCAN BodyLights

The AstroCAN BodyLights Module / Data Port Logics VU is an enhanced version of the original DPL for Astromechs. The main difference to the classic DPL are the additional digital RGB LEDs. The other LEDs are driven by a Maxim7219 LED driver chip as usual. It’s a DPL with more blink blink and connectors for several other Light Logics Modules.

AstroCAN Coin Slots Plus

The CSL+ AstroCan is the logical addition to the AstroCan system. Together with the other AstroCan modules, it integrates seamlessly into the system, with the lights controlled via sequences, offering much more than all other DPL versions currently on the market.

Additionally, it provides six extra input options for various functions.

BetterDuino – MarcDuino Replacement Firmware

The BetterDuinoFirmwareV4 software is a firmware replacement for the original MarcDuino V1.5Rev3 boards.

The BetterDuino Firmware V4 code has completely been rewritten from scratch. We took the idea of the EEPROM storage a step further, so nearly any setting is stored there. Including per-servo position settings. We also added the new panel animation of Tim Hebel.

AstroCAN BD-1 Logics

The AstroCan BD1-Logics board is designed for Michael Baddeleys BD-1. It fits the head and is controlled via a piggyback Arduino Pro mini or via any other microcontroller. It has 251 3535 RGB Leds.
